Bass artist Zero is proving how hard graft and natural instinct can take an unknown producer to the pinnacle of a genre.
Growing up in Woking, Surrey, Christian Williamson showed an inclination for music production but his skills grew substantially upon relocating to Brighton to enrol on a Music Technology course at the University of Sussex. To date, Williamson’s career has been a roller-coaster of emotion. His unique, original and fresh sound has made Zero one of the most recognisable faces on the bass scene and there’s more to come.

MPH has woven his sound into nearly every conceivable corner of UK dancefloors, strapping together monumental releases for some of the scenes most important imprints. From smooth garage creations with DJ EZ’s label Nuvolve, Kiwi Rekords and Southpoint, to raucous bassline bangers for the likes of Night Bass and Crucast; it’s difficult to find a platform that MPH is yet to encounter. Following bundles of support from the likes of Skream, Disclosure and Chris Lorenzo, the sky really is the limit for this young producer!
